I was getting used to being disappointed by the movies I see but I guess I’ve had a pretty good run lately of being pleasantly surprised. Still, didn’t enjoy Hard Candy. That’s not to say it wasn’t pretty good… really good in a lot of ways, but there’s no way I “enjoyed” that movie. An ulcer was too busy forming in the pit of my stomach for me to properly enjoy it, I guess.
